Boosting Motorsports

The RACC supports young drivers and riders, promoting their abilities to compete and their sports values, working as a true academy. A total of 53 RACC drivers and riders competed in car and motorcycling races in 2019. This task has provided for great champions in different disciplines and classes. The highlights among the successful results in 2019 are the world championship titles won by Marc Márquez (MotoGP), Àlex Márquez (Moto2), Jan Solans (Junior Rally) and Jeremy Alcoba (Junior Moto3).

Moreover, the RACC does also boost sports as a rigorous organiser of championships and series. In this sense, the Club continued to be the only entity in the world to organise four rounds scoring towards the main World Championships: the RallyRACC Cataluña-Costa Dorada, which renewed its FIA Certificate in Environmental Excellence with 3 Stars; the Formula 1 Spanish GP, the MotoGP of Catalunya; and the Barcelona RX Rallycross. In 2019, the RACC took on these four great events with enthusiasm and demand.
